Nice add-on in combination with NoScript!

Hi malware fighters,

For those that use NoScript inside Flock or Firefox, there is a nice add-on to give them just a bit further control over what JS is allowed to do as a feature or with windows, etc.Goes fine alongside NoScript…

JavaScript Options @ http://www.oxymoronical.com/web/firefox/jsoptions

With the new version of the preferences window just added into firefox you no longer get as much control over which bits of javascript to disable. This extension aims to fix that problem. Simply install, then in the options window next to the checkbox to enable and disable javascript will be the new “Advanced…” button.

Enjoy,

polonus

I wasn’t sure how this would be a good partner for noscript, which blocks all javascript by default and the oxymoronical site wasn’t to forthcoming in information. So I downloaded it and installed the extension to have a play with it.

I guess the strength/partnership only comes into effect when you allow scripts for a site, then the advanced js configuration of what it can do when scripts are allowed. So for the time being I will continue to test it and see if it retains it place on my FF extensions.
