No Avast icon after installation

I cannot find any Avast icon after installation of Avast! Mobile Security, via Google Play.
When I re-enter Google Play site/Avast! Mobile Security showed an icon [installed], but I cannot find any icon on my smartphone, Sony Ericsson W8, showing the installed programme.
How can I install Avast on my smartphone?

Do you mean that even in the apps home page (not the desktop) you don’t have the icon?
When started for the first time, avast! will be shown then in the notification area…
