no control when I begin downloading

::slight_smile: after this latest AVAST 2015 upgrade I have no mouse control when AVAST is running and I’m downloading a file. My CPU CORES go to 100% across all threads.

until the down load is finished. then I have my PC back and AVAST has finished its online download check.

really looks like I’m not renewing my license this year. :o

and it still deleting my Combat Shock Force game even when excluded. started doing it with this latest build AVAST released…

Also I sent a FP to the site and still its AVAST deleting.

You didn't mentioned this before. :-\ How/where exactly did you set the exclusion? In a shield or global?

What size is the file you download?
Does it make a difference if you disable the webshield before trying to download?

Windows defender is all. windows firewall.

  1. Download Avast Internet Security: http://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_internet_security_setup.exe
  2. Follow instructions: http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed Avast versions…!!)
  3. Reinstall Avast with the downloaded installer from point 1.
  4. Reboot.

yes I have tried both ways shield and global, AVAST deletes it. right now I have reinstalled it and turned AVAST back on.

I do not dare reboot the computer. if I reboot the AVAST will delete the game. even with it in the excluded zone.

so far so good I rebooted and it did not delete the game files.

after I uninstalled the avast2015, I got a COM error code 5 while there was no Antivirus I also see the same computer in the network setting as unprotected, but at the same time it show it protected make since?

well im back and yep avast deleted it again!!! Im done with AVAST until you guys fix it!
