Windows 7 professional 32 bit system on a desktop computer.After updating avast engine to v.25.10 desktop is lost when rebooting. No desktop icons. taskbar, start menu, forcing me to log out of windows 7. I must use the task manager to navigate to control panel to uninstall program and once removed and Windows restarted then the desktop is restored. Also evident on a second device which is a laptop running windows 7 home premium 64 bit system.
The most recent version is 25.11
I just updated my Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit VM and it shows me the desktop and start menu just fine.
