no detection

i have 4 files which contains viruses and are missed by avast detection.
I already reported them several times to avast but they are still not discovered in recent virus defenition updates.

What should I do?

re-send them to virus@avast.com and from www.avast.com/contacts .Sometimes avast! doesnt detect files in on-access scanning but its detected during execution. If you can send me the files I can test it out.

Upload the files to mediafire.com or some other file sharing site.Post the link here in form of WXW

https://www.mediafire.com/folder/bbhfmtdzawe1o/Avast

here you should be able to find them

mediafire is also noticing virus already when I upload so I hope it will still work

Break the link down to htxp.

The files you gave are just random junkware not actual viruses. So that is why avast did not add detection. They arent even any kind of PUP’s

I could download FLVPlayerSetup.exe because it was blocked by mediafire but I am sure from the name its also some kind of junkware

they are discovered as malware by any other anti virus… so why is avast not supposed to detect this???

no … they are detected as riskware/PUP
PUP = Possible Unwanted Program … crapware that comes bundled with other downloads

Not all antivirus companies classify these junkwares as bad but as you see big guns see it as safe on virustotal sooo…

I’ve seen that file several times already and avast detects it upon downloading and/or running, not with a scan.

that didnt happen.
I tried also to install it and the deep inspection even didnt show up
