No devices tile; support from chat is useless

I want to remove an old crashed laptop from my subscriptions. According to chat and support site there should be a list of active devices where I can remove the old pc. I find no such list or option. I get annoyed with Avast with so little support so I want to cancel my recent subscription but that page does not show up. I’m wondering why Avast is refusing live contact and support.

Just my observation, but I don’t know why you have posted this question in the Avast Mobile Security (i.e. mobile phone app) section of the forum. As it refers to a laptop and account/subscriptions, I think it would be better placed here: Avast Account / Subscriptions - Avast Community

It started as a question about removing the product on an abandoned laptop but while going around in circles on the website I got fed up about Avast all together (after many years as a satisfied customer). Maybe this was the wrong page, then sorry about that. It looks like no one at the company can be reached (only a chatbot with inaccurate answers).

For your questions, AFAIK there is no way to remove devices on your own; it’ll be removed automatically after some time of absence. You can re-use the license again before this as long as you’re sure it’s not used anymore (like broken/factory-reset machine).
