I just purchased 2 licenses for Avast Pro. One installed on a PC with XP pro, one installed on a PC with Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit. On XP pro everything works fine. On Windows Vista 64 I cannot access the internet whenever I have the resident protection of avast pro turned on. I tried on IE7 and Firefox, but with the same result. On IE7 the error “res://ieframe.dll/dnserror.htm#” appears whenever trying to open any page. The network diagnose shows no problems.
On both systems and with both different browsers I have got a problem with contacting the avast support website. I can open the support website once but as soon as I enter my details and log in, a blank page appears and I cannot access any support. Cleaning the cookies let’s me see the support site again but once I want to log in to send a support ticket I get a blank page again.
Anyone can help with these issues?
