I want Avast’s intrusive programming to end and I want it to end immediately. I dread opening Avast’s user interface on my PC. What is more you have changed it - it gets worse!

I PAY FOR THE PROGRAM TO PREVENT AND PROTECT ME AGAINST SUCH INVASIVE ADVERTISING PLANTED ON MY PC, NOT CREATE IT!_!!!

It is an insidious pressure I do not experience from other service/program providers. From Avast it is uninvited and never ending - buy! buy! buy our products! Well, no, no, no more or I shall say BYE BYE BYE!!

Did you not use the trial version first.?
have you researched and viewed the product prior to installation.?

What is the point of whining about it if you did the above things.?

Just use another av instead of coming on here whinging.

Since both users are in the UK it is spelt correctly. I would question its use, which is inappropriate, rather than its spelling.

Two Countries separated by a common language as they say.

If you are seeking help - AvastUI > Settings > Popups - uncheck the ‘Show popup offers for other Avast products’ option.

Also don’t forget midnight it not just UK is also Australia, Canada and New Zealand that spelt the same correct word, because we are part of the same British Commonwealth for another words IF I’m not mistaken we speak the same language.

In Avast paid products you can disable the advertising pop-ups :

Avast - Settings - General - Popups - deselect " Show popup offers for other Avast products " - OK.

Disabling the pop-ups will not stop the adds shown in the UI to my knowledge.

But let’s be honest, there is no need to open the UI several times a day.
Open it, do what you want to do and close it.

If the promotion of other avast products should be done (amongst other ways) in the UI of a paid version is debatable, but this is not the place to do it.

And let’s get real.
Almost(?) any sports-club has advertisements around the play-field and I do not hear complaints about that.
I see trucks, buses and such with advertisement on them and I do not hear complaints about that.

I would say: Stop “whining” and learn to live with it.
