I have avast! 4 set up to scann all emails incoming and outgoing and to insert a note into all clean and infected messages.
It inserts notes in plain text format emails fine but nothing with HTML format. I did edit these tags, could this be the cause?
Sorry this is a bug in current version of avast, I believe. It will be fixed in the next program update (due early next week).
Of course, changing of the format is fully supported.
