The only thing that loads with Windows is Avast, as far as security goes. None of the other programs run at startup or in the background. I start MBAM and Super once every week to 10 days and run full scans. Same with the other programs. They are only open and run on demand. And I had all these other programs when I was running Avast AntiVirus and Windows Firewall too.

I wasn’t indicating that I thought Avast needed an extra 2G of RAM. I just mentioned that I had purchased and that perhaps that would make a difference. According to your answer, it will make a bit of difference.
