No program update notifications anymore - solved

Hi,

I just noticed today that I don’t get program update notification anymore. On a different computer the green box is showing just like always that’s how I noticed that a new program update is available.

The logviewer shows the VPS updates but nothing else ???

OS: Windows XP SP2

Program Updates are cycled over 7 days to spread server load so that my be why you see it on one system and not yet on the other.

Bima, which is your VPS and avast versions?
Did you check the Update (Basic) > Details tab of settings?

VPS version 000735-0 (from today)

VPS - automatic
Program - ask…

Setting as always and it looks like avast is working like it should… well except the program update notification.

It’s kind of old for now ??? , but I can’t figure out why the notifications is not working for you :-. In my case, with the same settings, all are working just fine ??? : :-\

As David said, the notifications are displayed on different machines at different times to balance the load on our servers.
I’m sure you’ll get the notification even on the other machine - you just have to wait for it for a couple of days (at most, till the next Wednesday because the latest version was released this Wednesday and the “window” is set to 7 days).
