I couldn’t even get a “your ticket has been received” notification for my message. I logged in and was told my details weren’t recognised, which is odd because I’ve received three e mails relating to my order since I purchased it. I can also log in here, but not to other areas of Avast. I am beyond furious at the dismissive nature of ‘Avast’. I was warned that the free antivirus program was good, but not to actually buy anything from ‘Avast’. I should have listened. Could somebody please read the message and respond. Here is the original submitted ticket I wrote:
I paid for Grime Fighter and received a message from Avast informing me that payment had been successful. There was a link in the message to download Grime Fighter. When I clicked on the link I was informed: “Message from Avast I.T. Department (404 page) There seems to be a problem with this page. In the meantime, click below.”
The link mentioned took me to the Avast homepage and there was no mention whatsoever of my purchase. The page merely informed me of other products I can purchase from Avast. I clicked on ‘My Account’ and other places which might have provided information but none was forthcoming. This isn’t good enough - I was left in the dark.
I read some information relating to Grime Fighter’s incompatability issues with certain PCs. This should have been made clear prior to any financial transaction occured. I’m not sure why this should affect me because although my computer is old, Avast antivirus software was able to be installed very quickly and continues to work. Could you please refund my payment?

Not possible. If your details are unknown, you can't login at all.

What is the exact error message (if you get one)?

I’m having same problem, but it regards duplicate payments for overlapping accounts for Avast Internet security. I did receive an automated response with a link to check on progress. When I click on the link, I get an “Oops, you must log in” message. When I try to log in, I get “password not recognized”. When I carefully type the captcha for the lost password service, I get error messages (which the tech guy for TSupport tells me is evidence that the website doesn’t recognize that I have an account. The audible capcha was totally garbled–unrecognizable. The Total Support tech tried to put me in touch with customer support (he couldn’t help with the website problems) I went on hold for 20 minutes and then was disconnected.
It seems that you haven’t yet submitted any ticket, and thus there is no notification. Note also that there is no need to login to submit a ticket (you can login only after you send your first ticket).
