Maybe I’m overlooking something, but after the Windows 10 upgrade I cannot find the ‘Scan for outdated software’ option anymore.
Anybody know where I have to look for it?

From the avastUI > Scan tab > Scan for outdated software.
Generally there shouldn’t be much call to do a manual scan as the programs that it is monitoring on your system are checked against the avast database. If one of the programs require update you should get a popup.
