No scheduled scan with Win 10

After upgrading to Win10 Avast is not waking up my desktop and running AV scan. It was working fine on Win 7. Any suggestions? Thanks.

PS. Just did a repair as suggested on other posts. I will report back tomorrow morning with results.

If a Repair didn’t/doesn’t resolve your issue, a “Clean Install” may be required.

Avast ran last night. However, it could not scan 9 files because they are archived password protected. They are in my Users\AppData folder but I can not find them. The file name is abbreviated and my search can not identify them. Six are diff.00000X.dif files and two are IRIMG2.JPG files. This never happened before I upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10. Any ideas? Thanks.

UPDATE: Duh, I just realized I can see the whole file name by letting the mouse hover on the abbreviated file name. All 9 files are associated with a patch to Macrium Reflect so everything should be fine except I do not think these files are password protected.

Many software programs password protect their data.
