I just installed the Educational Free AVAST! version (with Enterprise Administration Console) on one of our hosted network servers. The tech support person for those servers had to add several pre-reqs before I could attempt the install. It was fine until the very end when more SQL errors were received, but the product completed the installation. When I try to LOGIN on the AEA console, no servers are listed and none can be detected. Has anyone had this same problem.? Is this due to the SQL errors received earlier. I have sent the problem to the support tech who is hosting our servers. Just thought I’d get a “jump start” if anyone else had experienced this problem. Thanks!!
I have found that if SQL is NOT installed prior to AEA, then it doesn’t always work:

I am having this same issue. So you are stating that if SQL isn’t installed locally, it could be a problem? I am using a seperate SQL server, and I didn’t have any issues configuring it that way.
