Although this is not a major problem I still miss that sexy lady ...why did she left me?
;D Maybe she got tired always saying the same thing…
Anyway, what happens if you go to the Control Panel, Sounds, and try to play the sounds (using the Play button). Does it work? Is there a correct path specified?
In the XP configuration screen, sound & audio, I had to MANUALY select the appropriate sound files (Wav) for Avast and this for every possibel function in
the program.
I thought that in the past this was a default setting, so you didn’t had to go
looking in the Avast (Englisch) folder to search for the sound files, to make them
work when you had some kind of detection or warning message.
well, dunno what happened ? maybe a some bad installation ? (although i doubt that…)
seems i’m not the only one with this problem, i saw somebody else in this forum with the same prob…
Hey ! What sort of favouritism is this ?
I've got some GUY that talks to me, and he gets a sexy lady !!!!
You need to have some virus first ;) ! The lady voice reports the virus presence, the GUY voice reports the database updates and suspected messages. But you can play the WAV files for yourself even without it - just check the English folder in avast directory for WAV files ;D
