The system boot time scan is not available on my avast!4 home edition…i even tried to register it…it still doesnt allow me to select it…CAN ANYONE HELP ??? thanx in advance. 
From this i can assume that you’re using Windows 98 / Me in which Boot-Time scan is not supported. Sorry,this is operating system related feature.
