My first ticket I put in was February the 7th and I have not heard a response from that. So I submitted another ticket February 14th in hopes to be heard. From reading the responses to previous posts from others that was a bad idea to do. Anyways it is beyond ridiculous how Avast handles it’s customers. I called in hopes to talk to a live person instead of sending in a ticket and was rudely spoken too. This is getting so frustrating, I would like a refund on my account. Has anyone had any luck getting heard?

Yeah… this is crazy, I too am in the same situation and avast is the most unprofessional company when it comes to handling these issues. I have had them take money out of my account multiple times now. Last year I did not receive a refund, this year I will make sure I get my refund, and in the future I will not be doing business with them because of this. You can’t treat consumers this way. I am sorry to hear you are dealing with the same thing.
jsam21498, I can see only one request from you in our ticketing system. Therefore I cannot comment on the reason why you didn’t receive refund last year. We are not stealing money from customers. Maybe you talk about auto renewal (aka subscription) feature of our order. However even in auto renewal case you should receive 2 notifications before the charge happens.

I have to guess here, but it looks that you did not send the refund request to avast but somewhere else.

After I posted this message I got my ticket answered and it was resolved the next day. I do think that Avast needs to up their customer service and add a number for account/billing issues. I will never subscribe from them again. Goodbye Avast, hello another antivirus company!!! But thank you to those who helped me get this resolved!
