My original post seems to have disappeared, so I will repeat my reply to Tech from yesterday. I went to the link you supplied, but couldn’t find any answer there. When I right click on the “a” icon, there is no reference to vdrb at all. I don’t think it is running at all, as I can’t find it anywhere. You referred to checking some data files, I don’t know how to do that. I have tried repair in the add remove programs, and then rebooted, but that didn’t help either. My first scan did discover two viruses, the only option offered was to put them in the virus chest, I don’t know if that is relevant to my vdrb problem.
