no vrdb

I’m using 4.8 on Windows XP SP2- I have no VRDB icon, how do I activate it on free version?
I have done a virus scan and have 6 of 7 resident scanners running.

You can unmerge the icon from the VRDB menu of the ‘a’ blue icon.
