when i start windows xp, i have not the local connection, so not the web !
i click on “stop the redident protection” and reactive this and all is OK!

Which firewall do you use?
Is ashWebSv.exe (WebShield) allowed to connect?
look’n’stop is my firewall. I’ve unlock a avast component, i will write in some days to communicate my result of this solution
