I installed Avast on my mobile device last night, I was stunned to learn that Firefox Mobile is not supported. A ‘Web shield’ is the reason I installed an antivirus app. And Firefox is the best browser on the Android platform, why is it not supported?
Very likely the reason is that almost no-one is using FireFox on a mobile device.

it’s not we wouldn’t want to support it, it’s unfortunately not really our choice since the browsers themselves actually have to support it in the first place then we can talk about implementing a Web Shield for it. Last time I checked (I admit it was a long time ago), Firefox didn’t provide any APIs that would make it possible. Don’t give up hope though
