Norton found a trojan.Gen.2 in windos\temp_avast_\unp158529260.tmp
it always pops up when i run an avast scann.
and i am using Free avast.
Having two resident anti-virus scanners installed is one too many and not recommended as rather than provide twice the protection it can cause conflicts that could leave you more vulnerable.
In this case 360 is scanning files that avast places there so that they can be scanned, 360 is interfering with that process, by locking the files first before avast can scan them.
This is a classic conflict situation.
Never install two antivirus (see reply from quietman7)

run and reboot - Uninstallers for Security Software

That is weird. becouse many people say that it is ok to have two Anti viruses at once. but if i just ignore the problem and dont delet any of the antiviruses, will my computer stay safe??
1 antivirus is enough… I had to learn that the hard way in 2010… i had Mcafee and avast on this computer and one of them caused a bsod on my pc… so i got this pc reformated later that year… as of right now i only use Avast! but if you want to stay protected even more use MBAM http://www.malwarebytes.org/
It is a recipe for conflict, as best duplication of scanning, worse, this type of conflict blocking the other AV or scanning files it is trying to scan and at worst locking up the system. If this system lock-up happens at boot you have a lot of hassle on your hands.
The whole idea of resident AVs is that they have low level drivers, which are designed to hook files (stop them running) so that they can be scanned. If these low level drivers come into conflict it is like two dogs fighting ove one bone.
So far you had got away with it, this is more by luck than design.
ok, i have uninstalled avas
and thx for the help
You’re welcome, though given the forum you visited, we would say you made the wrong choice ;D
X2!!!
+1 ;D

Avast In my opinion is ahead of Norton (With Scan speed, Definitions, etc.)
