Norton hits the mark

I activated “Avast Secure Identity” and I received a message from “Norton” with news about me found on the dark web.
Is “Norton” somehow connected to Avast?
If not, the “Norton” message arrived before the welcome message (and that’s worrying).

First, I’m an Avast user and not an Avast Team member.

Norton, Avast and AVG are now part of the GenDigital group of companies, so I don’t know if this is where the relationship came from.
