Not able to write to CD

Avast forum,
Avast Internet Security Version 7.0.1426
Windows XP Home Edition SP3

I was getting the error message “D:\ is not accessible Incorrect function”
when trying to write files to my CD. One web sites suggested turning off
my AV. As soon as I disabled all shields writing files to CD worked with
no error messages???

I’ve never experienced this, but something you could try is stop each shield one at a time and see which one’s responsible, or if it’s more than one.

It’s an external CD so the next time I’m using it I’ll try your
suggestion and post the results.
