Not enough user rights

I’ve installed the program and after I run it I get the message that I do not have enough user rights. This pops us:

I AM the administrator and even check in the control panel. There is only one user, me, and it lists me as the admin. Please help! I really need this!

This is rather strange… the error code 0x00000002 means “file not found”, so the interpretation “not enough access right” is wrong. However, I don’t see how such an error could happen.
Can you open regedit, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYstem\CurrentControlSet\Services and create a new subkey there, called “avastTestService” (and delete it subsequently)?

It will not let me write to the registry

So, you successfully navigate to HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services key - but you can’t create a new subkey there?
