Not Entirely Sure how to Report this...

So…

I’m the head of 5 different computers spread out in a 200KM area. (The furthest being 200KM away.) I do every once in a while check the system shields and reports of 1 particular computer (Belongs to my Grandmother). I’ve noticed Avast! has alerted to an issue in C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell Webcam\Dell WebCam Central\Webcamdell2.exe

It’s marked as Win32:Evo-Gen {susp}. It’s a FP, and my grandmother is not literate enough with computers to submit a report, and none of my system have a webcam from Dell.

Use Remote Asistance. Take control of your grandmother Avast and send file from Virus Chest (If in quarantine ) to Avast lab. Exclude and restore file afterward.

Not familiar with Remote Assistance. Using that idea though, I could use TeamViewer…

Guide your grandmother to Remote assistance on the phone to generate code. Introduce de code in your Avast Remot assistance and you are in control.

I see Essexboy looking at this, so he might teach me lol.

I’ve never used Avast! Remote Assitance is the issue. I suppose I ought to go google it and find out how… I might poke around the Avast! UI for a while too. Hopefully things are backward and forward compatible as she still has 2014 and I have 2015 now.

I can recommend AnyDesktop, really fast almost no lag, good for bad internet connections, and you can set a password to remotely connect to any
PC youve allowed it on from anywhere in the world, just enter the adress and password

Might give it a try… I’ve already got Teamviewer installed on my system.

Nothing to it.

Avast Help.

One of the nice features that’s part of Avast.
No need to install anything else unless, you need to remove avast.
This will not work since without Avast, the remote assistance isn’t available.
Great for any other problems you may need to solve remotely on any ones computer that also uses Avast.
