Not receiving streaming updates and samples not being uploaded

I haven’t received any new stream updates for a few hours now. Also, when I select samples to upload to avast! they are not submitted during the update process (also started when streaming updates stopped).

Is there any backend issue right there ?

You could submit to virus@avast.com if it aint working.

Yes that’s what I’ve done, there is also the contact form submission. But there may be a backend issue to solve.

I suspect that you are not using the latest beta right?

No, are you using it and getting the latest streaming updates ? Is the file submission working ?

No I am not using avast nor its beta either.I am not using any AV right now apart from MBAM.I checked on another machine with avast v9 latest stable built and had same problem as you said.

I have received 244 in the last 24 hours (from avast stats > component status), so it appears to be working fine for me.

I don’t constantly watch the statistics to monitor streaming updates, but a check of the defs and streaming sub-folders shows streams (14061801_stream) received shortly after coming back on-line some minutes ago.

But are you connected and getting the stream updates at the moment ? I’m still experiencing the same issue as yesterday.

Only 77 updates received last 24 hours. Received 0 since yesterday ~ 2 pm.

The file submission is working here if the guard is enabled… if it isn’t, then it just says “Setup is already running”

spywar, some of the servers have been updated just recently - but everything seems to be running OK at the moment, from what we can see.

Yep,same problem here happened yesterday no streaming updates.Now it works fine.Wonder if avast can do something to avoid such backend outages.

Not sure whether this thread is intended to be a discussion of beta software or not, but I’m getting streaming updates no problem with the released version. 11 in the last hour and looking back over a hundred since 4am this morning.

No, I was experiencing streaming updates issues with the current build last week but everything seems to be back to normal.

Are you guys connected right now ? I’m not, and did not receive any new stream for 3 hours.

Note the dates on the .bin files - no breaks I can see…
