Hi,
I am using most recent released avast free and most recent version of thunderbird.
I wanted to include my posteo account for sending/receiving emails.
But it is only working if I DISABLE the SSL connection check in AVAST.
If that is enable I am always getting popup for: Adress posteo.de:995 unknown identity.
I am using option “store exception permanently”, which leads to entry in certificates section in thunderbird, showing in one of the avast! Mail Scanner sectionS: www.posteo.de posteo.de:995.
As said, if I am removing SSL check all is working fine, for others like web.de gmx.de working of also for SSL.
BTW, posteo is setup as POP and SMTP, SSL/TLS 995 and 465 SSL/TLS
Any help available?
Thanks.
