Hi all! I’m Populous from the spanish forum and I’ve a little question for you…

Many times when I write a message it’s not published inmediately and a message in the body of the post says “the message is awaiting approval by a moderator.” ESPERANDO APROBACION in spanish language.

Which is the reason? This is not the first time that it occurs! Look at the attached file…

An example: The following post [[b]http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=96379.0[/b]] was posted about 1 hour ago still not appears published.

After posting it, I’ve posted several messages after it and they all have been automatically visible but not the first one, and I don’t know the reason!

I’m not a spammer and the message is not spam…

It is an automated anti-SPAM function. It can be triggered from various things, like certain Keywords or links. I see one of those posts mentions Ad-Aware, that is probably what triggered it on that topic.

You don’t have to get approved by a full-fledged Mod, one of the Ubers can do it also. But I’m not sure if they get direct notices about them or not, and since this is posted in a non-english section, they might not happen across it normally…so if it sits there in quarantine for too long, maybe PM one of the Mods or Uberevangelists about it.

I also think it might be a relationship between Mr. Cat and the spam filter… ;D The cat is very funny with his motorcycle lemon helmet! ;D

Well all that said about it being approved, etc.

I would have to question what is it doing on the avast! support forums in the first place as it has nothing to do with avast.

So I too am in agreement with the anti-spam (if that was what blocked it) that this is an advert and as such spam.

Did you not read the other comments on why it was ever posted in the avast! support forums as it has nothing to do with avast or its support ?

I deleted it for the reasons discussed here in this thread that it was actually classed as advertising ( spam ), i did try to send you a pm about it but the weather is so bad here tonight and my internet keeps going down.
