I had previously posted a problem in regard to Avast! not placing notes into clean messages. It’s is now functioning properly. It’s weird in the fact that all I did was run maintenance and removed all messages. After that, I checked my mail again and everything had a clean note. I have no idea how that could have fixed it but it’s working now in case anyone else has the problem.
IE8 is still slow as molasses though. ???
You could update your signature with the amount of RAM and CPU type and speed plus operating system so that the helpers can offer some suggestions to speed up your system.
Go to PROFILE then Modify Profile then Forum Profile Information then update your Signature: with this information like my signature.
My machine is running like a champion again. ;D The problem was that Avast! was by default constantly reading and writing to my memory. Now it’s not allowed to do so anymore. I’ll mess around with my profile a bit later in regard to specs, I have to go shovel snow.
