Hi Folks,
I keep getting a notice from Avast, telling me I have a browser add on, Arcade Parlor, that has a bad reputation. When I check my add on’s, I find not a single item relating to Arcade Parlor. When I click on the Avast notice ‘remove unwanted add on’, it wants me to select one of two browsers that I neither use, or want to use, Yahoo and Bing, from memory. I have Google Chrome as my default browser, and am very happy with it.
Does anyone else get this notification? I understand that Arcade Parlor can indeed be an unwelcome add on to any part of your system, so it’s disconcerting to be told that I may have it somewhere in my system.
I am getting an anouncment from Avast telling me that there is an app MyNews that needs to be removed. I get this about 3 x’s a day. I click on remove the app and it says it does but nothing is happening. I would like to tell avast but can’t find a way to do that. Is there a customer service department or email I can send?
