Notification on Azure TLS Certificate CA 01 when opening Edge

Hi there,

I’m running Avast Premium Security and I’m getting a notification on Microsoft Azure TLS Certificate CA 01 every time I open Microsoft Edge (v137 up to date). I have tried to add in the blocked sites list and also to add as exception in Avast but these don’t work. It happens only with Edge browser and none of the others. The browser is establishing a connection with a website that has an expired certificate since November 2021. I still cannot understand why the browser need to do that however, It’s a kind of annoying situation. Any help?

It seems it’s a known issue by Microsoft:
Redirecting

I can’t reproduce the issue here though…

OK something is wrong with the URL, change hxxps into https

Hi NON thanks for replying. Is there anything I can do in Avast to prevent this notification?

If you already tried site-blocking of Web Shield and adding exceptions, I don’t think of any pin-point prevention.
A silent mode would be suppress all alert though.

If you post URLs you add into site-blocking and exceptions, I may be able to check it’s working.

I SOlved it by blocking the website via editing the Windows hosts file.
