My Avast upgraded to the latest this evening, and on both PC’s the network icon in the tray now has an exclamation point with a triangle over it, and it states no internet access. Strange thing is, is can still access the internet. I had a 3rd PC with the same motherboard as the other 2, and it did the same thing after the update, shows the network icon in the tray and a yellow triangle with an exclamation. How do I fix it so it shows the correct status? I restored one of them from yesterday’s backup and it works as it should, no yellow triangle with the exclamation, but as soon as Avast updates it shows limited connectivity when there is not any.
Which OS?
Reboot fixed it in my case (or two reboots…I don’t remember).

Windows 7 SP1 32bit
The OS is Windows 7 64 bit, sp 1. I have rebooted about 4 times and it still has the annoying exclamation point.
