NVIDIA treiber-problems ! Eng / Ger

GERMAN:

Hallo miteinander!

Google transleter ENGLISH:

Hello everybody!

I have unfortunately recently something caught the download … after multiple scan with avast! and with Malewarebyts almost all fixed!
Only it has apparently fixed something in my video card drivers!
The biggest problem here is that when I start the PC I can just click on the task bar when I open my task manager!
What’s more that I can click in the program TeamSpeak 3 NOTHING more …

Hi when you start the computer are you only able to click on the taskbar and nothing else is working ? Or is the concern the files that are in the virus chest ?

Warning This fix is only relevant for this system and no other, using on another computer may cause problems

Be advised that when the fix commences it will shut down all running processes and you may lose the desktop and icons, they will return on reboot

Run OTL

wow, that was a bit too fast! i rly don’t know what you mean now… when i start my computer i’m not able to click on the taskbar or in teamspeak3 and i cant put it in the box with avast cause the virus is in my NVIDIA-drivers^^

can u tell me pls step 4 step what i have to do now?

PS: thanks for all your help as always, im just a bit tired thats why i dont look for my gramar^^

Not a problem…

First could you give me the details of your video card and I will locate the proper driver for it from the manufacturers site.

Then we will uninstall the suspect driver, allow Avast to kill what it wants and then re-install the good driver

Ok, ok, my videocard name is NVIDIA GeForce 520 ( 48 SM5.0 1.62GHz,1 GB .8GHz 64-bit )

Your driver is located here http://www.nvidia.de/object/win8-win7-winvista-64bit-306.97-whql-driver-de.html

Download to your desktop
Via programmes and features uninstall the driver that you got earlier
Reboot
Run the driver that was downloaded

Has that helped

okay, thanks, but how can i uninstall my currently driver?

It should show in the programmes and features part of control panel as Nvidia Catalyst or something like that

Then go start > run type in
devmgmt.msc
This will open device manager
Locate the Video adapter and select uninstall

Reboot

If the windows hardware wizard comes up cancel that
Then run the downloaded driver

Sorry, but I dont understand it… :frowning:
The only thing i can find is this… and I can’t follow your steps… just don’t understand it…
