I have scanned all files thorough, with 4,0 home version My OS is WIN me after scan is complete I am unable to remove files with this worm…what is my next step???
If Avast detects them, choose “remove at next boot” That will do it.
Tried that…window popped up saying couldn’t process
Run a full system scan in safe mode. See if that solves it.

where exactly was the worm found (full path/folder/filename) ?
→ Maybe you just have to disable system RESTORE and reboot
Have already disabled the restore…ran another scan I have 169 files that cannot be processed…
What are the paths of these files? (not necessarily all 169 of them… just a few)
most of files are WINDOWS\SYSTEM\julia.MPEG_.scr___________.exe
