I’ve had this issues for a few weeks now, my Avast program shows up as an inaccessible blank window, other things like the browser app and secure password storage work fine, I just can’t access the main application. This meant I couldn’t access the system to give it an update to fix the problem, I got so frustrated after it passed into the two-month marker that I just redownloaded the free version. But that means that I can’t use the full system anymore and I have no way of telling the program I already have a full version of it since it allow is asking me to buy coverage instead of just checking the account it should clearly be connected to for confirmation since has recognized my account, but for some reason it has been doing a connection cycle for over an hour and has yet to fully connect.

Premier, I’m not sure which version it is, I’m using Windows 10. But it probably wouldn’t hurt to look into the rest just to be safe. If I’ve had this issue there’s a chance someone else has as well.
- Download Avast Premier Antivirus: https://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_premier_antivirus_setup_offline.exe
- Follow instructions: https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed Avast versions…!!)
- Reinstall Avast with the downloaded installer from point 1.
- Reboot.
