I just installed it, no problem here but it’s only to fix a BSOD issue on Japanese and Korean language systems, a reboot is required.

I installed 1 optional update which was another one for Window’s 8.1. Also had the Skype and Silverlight but didn’t install them.

Some of us use Skype to do remote presentations.
It isn’t always possible to visit every club in person.
Skype is a nice alternative and if you use it, it needs to be updated.

I thought you would use Google Hangouts for your presentations since you like all the other Google and Chrome stuff, ooVoo is quite good also

Hangouts leaves a lot to be desired and still has a long way to go to catch up to Skype.
I don’t know and have never used ooVoo. I have used Skype for many years.
Doing remote presentations also requires the ability to share your screen with the other party in order for them to see the presentation.

For me Hangouts is just a really dumb name - I’m not hanging out there - I can’t remember what Google called it before.
