How do you turn off “real time protection” with MBAM Pro? MBAM Pro keeps blocking avast.svc even with the avast folder is on the “ignore” list. MBAM shows a pop-up that says avast.svc is malicious.
The main issue I like the protection that MBAM Pro provides but that damn pop-up is bugging me. ![]()
Never had a problem with MBAM Pro blocking avast.svc ???
Post a picture of the block or a MBAM log entry of the block.
First I would be reporting it as a false positive.
However, I rather think that it isn’t avastSvc.exe that it is reporting as malicious, but a malicious IP it is blocking. The fact that all http connections go through the web shield proxy, controlled by avastSvc.exe, so mbam is reporting the Malicious IP and the association of it going through the proxy.

What’ makes it worse I knew that. I had a brain f**rt ???
You have to read what is reported in full, than automatically jump to the wrong conclusion. As they say Don’t Panic! ;D
