"Office 2000 and "Avast"s last version.

Hello!!
I have “Avast” in my “Desktop computer”, which is “Windows XP SP3”. I have "Microsoft Office 2000 Premium", too. Well, in some programs, such as “Excel" " Word”, “PowerPoint", there is a tab called “Security”.
You can arrive to this tab by first clicking on "Macro", and then "Security”. Well, the fact is that on clicking on this tab “Security” I have read: “No antivirus installed”.
Looking for in Internet, I have also read that some antivirus are not "convenient" for “Office 2000”.
What could I do for “Office 2000” to admit “Avast”?

Lol. Your using an outdated OS and even an older outdated version of Office. Ignore it. If Avast is running your all set. Why dont you upgrade your OS and your Office? If not just use Libre Office which is free and modern.

Hi!!
Your answer does not like me. It’s no question of upgrading either the O.S. or the “Office”.
The computer I am writing these messages from is “Windows Vista” and it has "M. Office 2000 Premium" too.
It seems they install these editions of “Office” when people buy computers at the “Computer shop”.
For instance, the computer I am writing these messages is a notebook, and as I said it is "Vista", and SP2, and as antivirus I have in this notebook “M. Security Essentials”.
However, when I open “Word” and “Excel” and "PowerPoint" and then, click on “Security” tab I can read: “Antivirus is installed”.

sadly windows xp crashes alot and hardly microsoft is updated due they will stop windows xp support in 2 years time

Hello!!
Yes, but is there no solution for “Office 2000” to admit "Avast Free Antivirus"?

Thanks!!

Avast is protecting your computer as well as documents. It doesn’t matter what Office says. Microsoft doesn’t even support it anymore anyways. Not being a jerk but your asking questions about an obsolete office program. Switch to Libre Office for free.

using openoffice here which is more latest and free

as i am saying all older softwares cant be chase up

OpenOffice is good but not being supported as much anymore. LibreOffice is what I recommend for any looking for a free solution.

really?

i didnt knw that and heared they planning for 3.6.0 build soon
