I just discovered the same thing. I have Avast Premier and just upgraded my Office 365 2013 (64-bit) to Office 365 2016 (64-bit) and the Avast buttons are missing from the ribbon.
I’ve disabled the Avast add-in, restarted Outlook, then enabled the Avast add-in, restarted Outlook and no Avast presence is visible. What good does it do to have Avast enabled if it is invisible?
Or is there something that I am supposed to uncheck/check in Avast itself to trigger the add-in to be visible in Outlook? Oh, and I even tried restarting my whole computer and it made no difference.
