Have anyone tried to install this software offline? I have to get it on offline server (no chance to get online), but always kicked by sql express 2008 - that has to be downloaded (even if i install it separately - avast didnt recognize it) - was anyone succeful with offline install?

hmm i have comunicated with online avast support and only answer was - the internet connection for EA is needed, without it is product unusable. Then i found these two articles :

is online support so stupid? dont know their own manuals? omg, loosers
what online support probably means is that without the internet connection there are no updates downloaded including the latest virus definitions… if the definitions are not up to date then there is no point to install it since the newest threads wont be detected.
