I had installed AVAST and had scheduled the bootscan. But no virus detected, only a lot of files could not be read with same reason during the scan.
Two days ago my comp re-started itself, yesterday it was hung by itself (cannot press any button on the keyboard).
There was massage as follows:
***STOP 0X00000001 (0x00000000, 0x00000002,0 x 0x00000001,0 x FCA3CEEB)
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
***Address FCA3CEEB base at FCA05000, Datestamp3f4fa4cg_smwdm.sys.
Beginning dump of physical memory
Is there any virus in my comp? Why can’t it be detected? How to find & remove the virus?
But no virus detected, only a lot of files could not be read with same reason during the scan.
And that reason was ?
Many programs (usually security based ones) password protect their files for legitimate reasons such as AdAware and Spybot Search & Destroy, there are others (and avast doesn’t know the password or have any way of using it even if it did know it).
When you run scans with the above programs and you delete harmful entries that they detect, a copy is kept (in quarantine/restore/backup) in case you need to reverse what you did. These are usually password protected, you should do some housekeeping and delete old backup/recovery/quarantine entries (older than two weeks or so), this will reduce the numbers of files that can’t be scanned.
By examining 1) the reason given by avast! for not being able to scan the files, 2) the location of the files, you can get an idea of what program they relate to. You may need to expand the column headings to see all the text.
Files that can’t be scanned are just that, not an indication they are suspicious/infected, just unable to be scanned.

Whilst I can't guarantee that there isn't a virus on your computer, this doesn't seem to me to be a virus causing this BSOD. Have you tried a google (or alternate) search for the error 'STOP 0X00000001' without the quotes or the DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL ?
This is one on the stop error, and a very good source of information in general, well worth bookmarking for the future - http://aumha.org/win5/kbestop.php.
Since Drivers were mentioned that is more likely the source of the problem, unfortunately it is very difficult to pin down what driver is at fault as hardware have drivers installed and so does software.
Have (or did) you have another AV installed on this system, if so what was it and how did you get rid of it ? Anti-virus programs also have drivers and having multiple AVs installed on the same system could cause a driver conflict, although this isn’t known/identified in this case.
I have read your reply with great thanks, and am now still studying about STOP from the link you stated.
As for the AVAST quarantine/restore/backup, would you please tell me in what file I can find it? I am starting the Avast AV, but no quarantine files found - chest only.
I used to install norton AV, and removed it through control panel/add or remove program.
Download it and save it to your hard disk somewhere you can find it later and go off-line. Run the removal tool, reboot, uninstall avast (it may not have properly installed because of any NAV remnants), reboot and install avast.
