Today 02-06-2008 I received an update size 14.426.126 bites named vps-8053100.vpu. It took 14.45 minutes. The file 080531-1 seems to be older than the previous one 080601-0. Isn’t that a fault?

Is depend on your internet connection. If your internet connection is good than it will download faster, If bad it slow. And another causes of this is because >>look this thread http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=36007.msg302109#msg302109

Thank you for your fast reply. Normally it takes 2 minutes to update virus definitions. I have never received old updates before.
But I have just received a new one. Download time 2 seconds. Size 19,92k version 080602-0. It seems that everything it OK again.

This problem is related to our provider’s problem, we’re trying to fix the outage somehow.
