Today my serial key ran out. I didn’t know that all I had to do was request a new one so I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it. Now I can’t use On-Access Protection. If I open the On-Access Control and click start it does nothing. If I go to more details and try to start the web or any other sheilds it says this Operation could not be completed
You don’t need to uninstall when the key run out… just add the new key and the program will accept it.
Are you reinstalling the last version of avast? 4.7.844
Did you re-register and get sent a new key ?

Yea I got sent a new one. And I know now that I didn’t have to uninstall it but I did and On-Access Protection won’t work now 
I’m using Avast Version 4.7 Home Edition
And it should be the lastest version because I downloaded it today from the downloads page on the website
