Is it possible to enable On Access Scan of Avast in ubuntu 9.10/9.04 like windows.? I am not very much comfortable with ubuntu but i have heard that any realtime file access in ubuntu can be possible with Dazuko. So, will it be of any help with Avast too…?
Real-time scanning is not necessary. Relax.
Unless you’re running some sort of file/email server, in which case that’s outside my experience.
Yes, there’s an “avastguard” client for avastd server - which transfers Dazuko events for further scanning into avastd (part of avast4server).
But, on a workstation, most of people don’t need it, it’s rather a server-side solution.
