Have avast home edition installed. Recently when opening a page or email. I get a rolling list of
“avast on-line scanner message” This list obscures the window for about 10 seconds - then disappears - any ideas what I might have done wrong. thnx…charlie
See image, Standard Shield > Customize > Advanced - ‘Show detailed info on performed actions’ this option is off by default, so it would appear you have been tweaking avast without knowing the effect it will have. This function is also on the Web Shield and Internet Mail providers so you should also check those.
Hi David… No luck … box unchecked… I have not altered or tweaked the settings…thnx for your help …charlie
That is only one shield and you don’t say if you checked them all, as I said this function is on two other shields (This function is also on the Web Shield and Internet Mail providers) and those seem to be the ones activated, email and web pages info being displayed.
