On boot-up, Windows computer is trying to open connection to malicious websites.

I hope someone can help me.

After running AVAST boot scans, MalwareBytes, HerdProtect and Adware Cleaner, my friend’s computer on bootup is still trying to connect to a number of malicious urls. Here are some excerpts from Avast’s nshield.txt log:

13.02.2015 22:58:08 Network Shield: blocked access to malicious site http://reddie.net/3131/TrimInstance_142244772264900.dll ([37.48.117.50]:80) [ C:\Windows\System32\svchost.exe ( 1216 ) ]

14.02.2015 08:23:33 Network Shield: blocked access to malicious site http://blackfight.info/3131/desktopbeautifier_142241602488537.dll ([37.48.117.50]:80) [ C:\Windows\System32\svchost.exe ( 1004 ) ]

I am attaching the log files that the forum recommends.

I appreciate any help that a malware analyst can provide.

Thank you!

Could you let me know if this stops it

[*]Click on Scan.
[*]After the scan is complete click on “Clean”

[*]You can find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner[S1].txt as well.

Thank you sooooo much…

You are amazing!!! I have attached the fixlog.txt file as well as three log files from Adware Cleaner that were generated at about the same time. The AVAST nshield.txt log did not show any connection attempts to the malicious urls after I applied your fixlist.txt file.

I would love to know how you worked your magic!

Alan
