Thanks for getting this fixed! No more pop-up, but now the GUI main screen states “Secure DNS can’t run on this network” Never had that before … will post as separate issue, too

its doing it again, account tab says “online content unavailable”, but the overview tab is populating this time.

Yeah. The only problem is that nobody wants to go back to Norton ;D

I’m getting this issue too. It’s been doing it every 20 or so minutes for the past few hours.

same here. i couldn’t take it anymore so i tried uninstalling Avast. it asked me to go to Save Mode, AND NOW MY PC WONT START UP ANYMORE! i only get black screen Avast you bunch of fcking aids people! fack off, thanks for fucking up my PC you bunch of fking R-tards

Just in case this starts up again I seemed to manage to get Avast to stay quiet by turning off all 3 resident shields (turned off till next restart only)

…this is why I use Avira on my own personal system…

Whole new problem for me regarding this issue…Now it states My Device has been disconnected and when I try to log in it tells me “we could not connect your device”

Edit: Tried opening Account tab and now I get “Unexpected Error…we are working on a solution”

The problem is not gone , and now says it was not possible to connect the device .

Hi, both issues should be fixed now. Please try again. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Tried logging in and it tells me “Server not responding, Please try again later”

This retarded pile of crap is behaving itself again on this side.

I was FINALLY able to get logged in, but Avast tells me my virus definitions are out of date even after I ran a manual update.

Settings / Update says “connection not established” despite manual updates.
Other problem seems to be solved.

Settings / Update says “connection not established” despite manual updates.

Similarly . And in the end I can not update the databases .

my update screen shows the same

Whilst my VPS version was up to date 151008-0 but the https://www.avast.com/virus-update-history page hasn’t been updated it is still showing 151007-2 as the latest.

However, I did a manual update to see if I could replicate the problem, I was able to get a connection and it stated I had the latest VPS version.

I get the identical info when I update, but when I view the security info on my.avast.com (viewing MY pc) it tells me otherwise and I don’t know how to get that current

I don’t know if there is a problem in the display of the data on my.avast.com. Whilst I’m currently running the avast 2016 beta version, it is reporting my Virus Definitions as OK (check mark) the version is far from updated (151001-0). So it is incorrect in giving it a check mark as that would be out of date, when the main avast Update window shows the correct VPS 151008-0.

You could try an avast Repair and see if that resolves it - it has in the past resolved out of sync data on what is reported against what is actually there. This may or may not result in incorrect data reported to my.avast.com, such as it stating that SafeZone is on (when I uninstalled it).

I’m still getting ‘online content is unavailable’ for avast premium and for avast for mac.

I’m also getting “The online content is unavailable” when trying to connect to Account in the AvastUI, on 3 Windows 7 Pro SP1 laptops running AIS. It does appear the the account is connected at some level because Overview in AvastUI gives the email address I used to sign up at my.avast.com and the points increment after a scan on any of my devices that are signed up.
