Online gaming problem

HI there, are there any known problems with avast and online gaming. I am experiencing problems with avast and RTCW Enemy Territory, it take forever to log onto a server with Avast active.

Ge4 440mx

the geforce MX series has problems please update the driver to the video card personally my mac has a ATI Radeon 9800 PRO
